LLANDUDNO have completed the signing of former Caernarfon and Llangefni striker Jason Sadler after he scored a hat-trick in the Maesdu Park side's 4-0 demolition of Welsh Premier side Porthmadog on Saturday (July 19).
Joint manager Grant Montgomery described it as "a fantastic signing for the club" and he will have taken great heart from his side's comprehensive win.
"I don't think the scoreline flattered us. We were more confident on the ball and I was delighted with our fitness levels," added Montgomery.
Sadler broke clear to take the ball round Porthmadog keeper Richard Harvey to put Llandudno 1-0 up at half-time and after Alun Roberts had added a second goal 67 minutes with a right foot volley, Sadler completed his hat-trick with two more goals in the last 20 minutes.
New signings Craig Hogg and Caerwyn Roberts both did well on their debuts, but Chris Boulton missed the game after being ill overnight.
