COLWYN BAY have been given an attractive home tie in the FA Trophy against BGB Midland Division side Chasetown, who famously reached the third round of the FA Cup last season before going out to eventual finalists Cardiff City.
The tie at Llanelian Road on October 18 is in the first qualifying round of the competition.
In the FA Cup, Colwyn Bay have been drawn away to Bamber Bridge in the preliminary round to be played on August 30.
The winners of that tie will be at home to Witton Albion in the first qualifying round on September 13.
