All to play for in Deaf Ashes series

COLWYN BAY Cricket club host the three-day second Test in the 2008 Ashes series for deaf cricketers starting on Sunday (Juy 13) with everything to play for after the opening Test ended in a draw at Southport on Thursday (July 10).
England began the final day on 140 for 4 in pursuit of Australia's first innings total of 334, and bowled out for 252 just lunch with Nigel Davenport scoring 63 from 99 balls.
Australia's Kim Daley, who had scored 65 batting at number nine in the Australian innings, took 5 for 73 with the ball.
England then raised hopes of an unexpected win when they had Australia struggling at 69 for 7 in their scond innings, but 47 not out from Terry Hall helped them recover and close on 137 for 8.
The teams now head for Colwyn Bay on Sunday with play on all three days starting at 10am.
