LLANDUDNO will be managed by Grant Montgomery and James Cornish in the Cymru Alliance next season after plans for a high profile appointment were scuppered at the 11th hour.
The club had been set to unveil Steve Owen, former number two to Clayton Blackmore at Bangor City and Porthmadog, and ex-Bangor City and Porthmadog midfielder Aled Rowlands as their new management team, but after initally agreeing to take over, they have pulled out at the 11th hour.
With no other apllicants deemed of suitable quality, Montgomery, who had been planning to take a year away from football after deciding to end his playing days last month, has agreed to step into the breach along with James Cornish, who has also agreed to stay on pending his planned move to Australia.
