LLANDUDNO beat Mochdre by four wickets to stay joint second in the Premier Division of the North Wales Cricket League on Saturday (June 14).
After Mochdre lost their last six wickets for 18 runs in a total of 136 all out, Llandudno were 78 for 6 in reply before an unbeaten seventh wicket stand of 59 between Owen Jones and Romain Grenville steered them to victory and ended Mochdre's four-match unbeaten run.
Menai Bridge stay top of the table after beating Bethesda.
Llanrwst were bowled out for just 25 in a humiliating 171 run defeat against fellow strugglers St Asaph.
Conwy lost by five wickets to Bangor 2nds and are in the bottom three of Division Two, Llanrwst 2nds lost by 10 wickets to Menai Bridge 2nds after being dismissed for 56 in Division Three, but there were good wins for Mochdre 3rds in Division Five by eight wickets and Llandudno 3rds by five wickets in Division Six.
