Posted by Tim Channon on June 30, 2008 11:02 AM |

OLIVER FARR from Ludlow shot a four under par final round of 68 at Conwy on Sunday (June 29) to win the 72-hole Aberconwy Trophy with a four round total of 288.
His round of 68 in windy conditions was an amazing nine shots under the standard scratch for the day of 77, and his win consolidates his top seven place in the Pinnacle Welsh Order of Merit.
Farr's superb final round at Conwy saw him finish two shots clear of Neath's Richard Hooper and 12 clear of Vale of Glamorgan's Luke Thomas in third place.
Adam Runcie of Abergele was fourth on 301, while defending champion Jason Shufflebotham (Prestatyn) shot 307 which included an 11 at one hole at Maesdu on the Saturday.
