JANE BOWLER from Deganwy Bowling Club is the Welsh Ladies senior merit champion for a second time after beating Denbigh's Sue Dace of Denbigh 21-15 in the final at Llanrwst on Sunday (June 1).
She will now represent Wales in the Champion of Champions event at Blackpool in September.
Betty Phillips (Deganwy) and Sue Vayro (Eirias Park) were the losing semi-finalists and all four semi-finalists, plus Gill Hainey (Craig-y-Don) and Alwena Topley (Rhydywmyn), will compete for Wales in the British Ladies Merit at Llay on July 12.
