COLWYN BAY Football Club have made more signings as they continue to build a squad they hope can challenge for promotion from the Unibond Division One North next season.
They include Jonathon Crompton, a 6ft 3ins central defender who was released by Port Vale after captaining their successful FA Youth Cup side last season to wins against Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham on the way to a quarter final defeat to Chelsea.
The new goalkeeper is 21-year-old Damian Stevens, formerly with Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford, and Richard Smart is a 27-year-old left-footed defender or midfielder who has been Chester City, Stoke, Airbus and Porthmadog.
Striker Carl Frost is a striker who began his career at Crewe Alexandra playing alongside Dean Ashton, and has had spells with Witton Albion and Leek Town, while the Seagulls have also signed brothers James and Stuart McIntosh, the former having scored 21 goals in 53 appearances for Airbus UK in the Welsh Premier League last season.
