PENMAENMAWR PHOENIX have claimed third place in the Clwyd League's Premier Division on goal difference from Abergele Rovers after winning their final match 4-3 against Rhyl Nomads today (May 17).
After losing 2-0 and 3-2 leads, given them by goals from Steve Roberts, Peter Williams and Bleddyn Jones, an 82nd minute winner from John Griffiths secured the three points.
Penmaenmawr play Greenfield in the semi-finals of the Presidents Cup on Tuesday.
