LLANDUDNO are back on top of the Premier Division of the North Wales Cricket League after racing to an eight wicket victory at Hawarden Park today (May 17).
After the home side declared on 147 for 8 after 39.5 overs, Llandudno won 148 for 2 scored off just 16 overs.
They go back above previous leaders Connah's Quay who lost at Menai Bridge.
Llanrwst's game at Pontblyddyn was washed out by the weather, as was Conwy's game at Bersham in Division Two and Llandudno 3rds match at Bala 2nds in Division Six.
Llandudno 2nds had their game abandoned due to the weather when 14-0 after 3.4 overs in reply to Chirk's 267 for 8 declared in Division One.
Llanrwst 2nds lost by seven wickets against Bala after being bowled out for 114, and Mochdre 2nds lost by 10 runs after bowling Mold 2nds out for 86 in a low scoring game in Division Four.
ON Sunday MOCHDRE gained their first win of the campaign with Gareth Davies in great form with bat and ball against Mold.
He scored 98 not out in Mochdre's big total of 231 for 6 declared and then took three wickets for 20 runs off 11 overs as Mold were dismissed or 134, with Gareth Goodson taking 5 for 50.
