COLWYN BAY are hopeful that today's (Saturday) home match against newly crowned Unibond Divsion 1 South champions Retford United will go ahead (3pm kick off), despite the heavy showers of rain over the last 24 hours.
Volunteers have been working on the pitch and a club spokesman commented: "It is only the match referee who can call it off now, but we are hopeful the game will go ahead."
