NANT CONWY are through to the semi finals of the ScottishPower North Wales Cup with a 22-8 victory over unbeaten league leaders Caernarfon at Bethesda on Thursday night.
Kelvin Morris got an early penalty for Caernarfon, but Peredur Ellis levelled the scores with a similar effort before a break by centre Ifan Jones put full back Grant Jones over in the corner and Ellis added the conversion.
Nant Conwy then dominated the second half and after heavy pressure on the Caernarfon line prop Glyn Roberts crashed over with Ellis again converting to put the Conwy Valley side 17-3 ahead.
Caernarfon pulled a try back through winger Robert Farrer, but replacement Gareth Jones ran in Nant's third try from a tap penalty to secure an excellent win.
