TWO second half goals from Grant Montgomery gave Llandudno a 2-1 win at Glan Conwy in the North Wales Coast FA Cup to secure a quarter final tie away to Bangor City.
Ashley Smith gave Glan Conwy a 13th minute lead after Llandudno keeper Sean Pearson had parrid a shot from Shaun Shannon, but Llandudno dominated the second half and Alun Roberts crossed from the right for Montgomery to stab in the equaliser at the far post after 62 minutes and nine minutes later he hit the winner when Bryn Jenkins found him unmarked inside the area.
COLWYN BAY lost 1-0 at Ossett Albion in the Unibond Presidents Cup after earlier in the day completing the signing of defender James Glendenning from Caernarfon Town.
Both he and Lee Hoolickin, signed on Friday, made their debuts, but both sides struggled in the strong wind.
The only goal of the game came 15 minutes from the end when Colwyn Bay failed to cut out a right wing cross and Andy Catton sidefooted home from six yards.
Adam Wade was unlucky with a shot that hit the underside of the bar, while the home keeper saved well from Paul Williams and substitute Mark Quayle, while James Oslen saw a free kick defelected narrowly side of the post off the the defensive wall with the keeper wrong-footed.
